Bobby "skip" Goodspeed is just an average misfit in the the so called misfit squad, made out of Addie, an extrimly brave girl that is always trying to prove the teachers wrong, Joe, a kid that hates his name, and Bobby, who is the fatest kid in school.  They don't do much,  until the time to make teams for the annual votes for the democratic/republican parties arrive.  At first, they don't think they will pick a side.  Then Addie gets the idea to start a new party, and then things really start to get confusing.
I read this book called NERDS, wich is about a group of people that don't really fit into anything, so are always being bullied. As it turns out, these kids are super-spies, in a sanctuary only they now about, where they don't have to feel stupid and unwanted.  It reminds me of the misfits because they both have similar problems
