A book I have read during the summer is called Skyclan's destiny by Erin Hunter. It is a book about a cat named Leafstar, who leads a clan of wild cats in a forest. There is a prophecy that said to find the roots of another cat's problem so it won't become theirs. Leafstar can't find the problem. A group of cats who were drove out of their home come into her clan and act as if they want to join. They actually came to the clan for help. Leafstar agreed, thinking of the prophecy and helped the cats drive out the intruders. They were successful and the prophecy was fulfilled.
This book reminded me of countries today. The clan cats were in a strong, thriving country who gave help to a crumbling country's society who was being taken over by another country. If the enemy country succeeded in controlling the other country, it would be the clan's problem because they would be next.
I recommend this book to whoever likes animal, fiction, and adventure books. It may seem like a childish book, but it can be read by young adults, too. This is my favorite series and I enjoyed this book.
