Harry Potter And The Cursed Child, by John Tiffany and Jack Thorne

*Contains Spoilers *
Harry Potter And the Cursed Child – by John Tiffany and Jack Thorne –  is the 8th Book in the Harry Potter series, and the (supposedly) last. The past seven books were written by JK Rowling, and this finale is, in actuality, really the script to the play in London. This final story takes place nineteen years later. Harry Potter is now Head of Magical Law Enforcement, and is married to Ginny Weasley. They also have three children, Albus Severus Potter, Lily Luna Potter, and James Sirius Potter. Then the first unexpected twist in the story arrives, and Albus is sorted into the Slytherin House at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. Albus begins to feel more and more isolated from his Potter family, and the grand weight of holding the Potter name. Albus is best friends with Scorpius, Draco– Harry's school enemy– Malfoy's son. To put the situation in worse terms, Scorpius is rumored to be Voldemorts... (DRUMROLL) SON! So after a Harry-Albus fight, Albus decides his father has made too many mistakes, especially one involving getting Cedric Diggory killed years ago. Albus, Scorpius, and Cedric's cousin Delphini Diggory embark on a journey with the dangerous Time Turner, to make sure Cedric Diggory was never killed. And in the end, having to heal their own wrongdoings. Throughout all this time-jumping, Albus and Scorpius witnessed alternate realities and were being frantically searched for by a variety of people. Delphini (the Neck-Master) takes advantage of the young boys and tries to bring back a great, evil, power. In the end, everyone must stop Delphini from putting everyone in grave danger.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is very similar to a common lesson, or a problem that arises in every day, normal lives. A main theme in the Cursed Child is belonging, and not feeling "right." Albus comes from a famous family, from the school group Gryffindor, and defeated the evil wizard Voldemort. Now Albus is a Slytherin, isn't popular, and his one friend is rumored to be the son of Voldemort. There can't be more differences. Yet they still try to love each other, and fight a lot. In present life, people everywhere feel as if they don't fit. Don't fit in a family, a home, a group of friends, a religion, a gender, even a nationality or race. Some just don't feel they belong where or how they are, and change. I recommend this page-turner to, of course, every Harry Potter reader. It is completely worth it, even if it isn't a JK Rowling story. The story holds the same continual story line and powerful descriptions. Any fantasy/adventure reader will love this, money back guaranteed, call 1-800-HARRYPOTTER in the next 24 hours and win a free yearly scholarship to Hogwarts. The only downside is the fact that the whole play is in script format, so can't have the same extremely detailed descriptions. Yet, definitely worth reading.
