Another book that I read is called the Battle of Jericho.
It's about a sixteen year old kid named Jericho who gets invited to be a Warrior of Distinction, along with his cousin/best friend, Josh.  The Warriors of Distinction is an elite club that has been going on for fifty years.  They can go anywhere in school, get the best grades, and have access to rooms where almost no one can go to, like the room in wich the teachers keep the grades.  They throw the best parties, get the best touters, and are the most popular in the whole neighborhood.  But as the pledge activities continue, Jericho starts to notice how humiliating they are and how much they hurt him, inside and outside.
