Ghostopolis by Doug TenNapel

Ghostopolis is about a boy named Garth Hale who has an incurable disease, but when he gets zapped into the world of Ghostopolis by former ghost wrangler Frank Gallows, he finds out that he  has powers in the ghost realm. He uses them to fight the evil ruler Vaugner who is trying to tighten his grip on Ghostopolis. While this is happening Garth meets his grandfather who tries to help him get back to earth.

I would recommend this book to someone who likes Graphic novels because this is a very good one even though it isn't a very funny one. Ghostopolis reminds me of the book cardboard. Its by the same author. They are similar in some ways like how neither one of them takes place in a world where anything normal happens.
