Goodbye stranger is about a group of seventh grade friends, three of
which have been friends since they've been 7 years old. When they where
eight Tabitha, Bridge and Emily promised to never fight no matter what. Their
other friend Sherm's, grandfather left his grand mother after fifty years of
marriage and writes him every day even though he never sends his letters. Tab,
Emily and Bridge make it through middle school without fighting and Sherm
finally sends his grandfather all of his letters.
Goodbye Stranger reminds me of the book When You Reach Me. It’s about
the story of a girl who sticks up for her best friend and then after that he doesn’t
speak to her for a couple months. They
are similar story’s because they are set in the same place but in two different time
periods. The same author writes them writes both too.
