The Boys who Challenged Hitler: Knud Pedersen and the Churchill Club is a book written by Phillip Hoose about the true story of Knud Pedersen and his friends. The Churchill Club was a group of Danish teenagers who, angered by their governments surrendering to Hitler and the Nazi's. Inspired by the British leader Winston Churchill and their Norwegian neighbors, they began conducting acts of sabotage against the Nazi soldiers occupying their country, such as destroying vehicles, stealing weapons, and more.
This book reminds me of some current politics, because of how even though there are things that are terrible but powerful, people still find ways to stop those terrible things, or at least do some damage (Trump, Sanders).
I normally don't like non-fiction, but this is such a fascinating story, so I recommend it to really anyone who likes amazing real (or even if you like fake) characters and insane action. It really is such a great story.
