"Treasury of Greek Mythology: Classic Tales of Gods, Heroes, and Monsters" is a great and awesome Mythological collection of the different mighty Greek Gods, Heroes, and Monsters. From Zeus to the Titans to Hercules, this book will massively expand your Knowledge of Greek Mythology. However, most Treasuries use Alphabetical order to place their characters in an organized order, but sometimes it can mess with a Person's knowledge of the Mythological timeline. Even so, this is not the case with this Treasury. Instead, different Gods, Heroes, and Monsters are all introduced in the order that they were introduced in the original Greek Myth timeline making it much less complicated for the reader to remember which event came first and which event came last. I also liked how in the Back of the book they had added a collection of the gods, each with a summary of their purpose and their alternate Roman names. For example, for Poseidon, his summary read: Roman Name: Neptune God Of: The Seas. It also made it more simple for someone who wasn't looking for such in depth info.
In the end, I loved this book and I'd give it at least a 4.5 out of 5. I also think that this connects to a lot of things in my life mostly religion. This is because it tells about the gods of a religion different than mine even though I actually believe in my religion while I see this as a form of Mythology. I would recommend this book to someone who love Fantasy and might like studying different forms of religions. However, if you do not like mythology or fantasy and never did then I highly suggest you steer clear of this book. I hope you've all enjoyed my final book review.
