Shes teased about everything from the color of her black skin, her homemade clothes, and her joyous single mother.When a new teacher named miss Saunders shows up at her school with a big white birthmark ,Maleeka knew she was in for a tough year because she was going to get teased just how Maleeka gets teased.This book connects to me because i know alot of people who gets teased because of their skin,how they live and something they cant change.I would recommend this book to people who like realistic drama because this book has drama & it can connect to people lives in many different ways.
