      This wonderful story, The Miraculous Journey Of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo is about a China rabbit name Edward Tulane. He was loved by a girl named Abilene but Edward only knew how to love himself. All of his days seemed the same. Until one day when something horrible happened, Edward is thrown into the ocean. He now has to live the life of a fisherman, a Hobo, a scarecrow, and a puppet. He thens starts to feel feelings he has never felt before and that was appreciation, Heartbreak, sadness, loneliness, hope and love.
     

  I find this story very common, a person is selfish and only knows how to love him self when others love him. And in the end he finally understands love. I see a connection in real life between the person and the stuffed animal. When you were younger or you still do, always had that one favorite stuffed animal and you always loved it but you wondered how it felt about u, maybe thats just me. And if you lost it you would be devastating. Another connection to real life is, it's kind of like a relationship, She loves him,  he doesn't, he leaves, realizes that he loves her and comes back, etc. I would recommend this book if you liked Winn Dixie and if you like adventure and fiction.
