This book (as you might have guessed) is a love story. If you do not like love stories I strongly advise you to not even read this review.
Lucy Patterson is a girl who lives on the 24th floor of an apartment building. Owen lives in the basement of the same building. One day they get into a elevator together. Unfortunately the day they get stuck in an elevator is also the day of a blackout. So, these two complete strangers are stuck in an elevator together. When they get rescued they decide to walk around the darkened city together. Soon after the back out both Owen and Lucy have to move abroad. They both move around a lot but they always find a way to stay in contact. And... That is all I am telling you right now.
This is a lovely book and it is really sweet. I would recommend this book to people who like love dories that aren't very sappy.
