Roller Girl

The book "Roller Girl" by Victoria Jamieson is about a girl named Astrid who wants to play in Roller Derby and has her life set on being in an actual bout with the amazing Rainbow Bite! But for that to happen it is a bumpy road inside and out of roller derby camp. She is a girl going into middles school and learning the true meaning of friendship while she gains and looses friends.

 I can connect this book to many things and one of them is any girl who is going into middle school and learning the line between best friends and mortal enemies! I would recommend this book to a graphic novel reader because it is a graphic novel. I would also recommend this book to any girl who might be a bit of a tom boy and likes roller derby. I can honestly say that this book was amazing and that lots of people should be reading it!
