This story is three stories into one. A monkey King, a Chinese boy, and a high school boy. They wanted to be something different in someway to impress something or someone. But in the end the best solution was to be yourself.
The connection in this story is that some point in your life you may not like the way you look like and want to change the way you looked. Or you wanted you change you in general to impress someone you liked. Just like in this story when Jin changed his hair because he thought that, the girl he liked, liked guys like that. I would recommend this book to people who like folk tales, fiction and culture. This is a great book recommend to all ages.
